These games also offer additional content on the side. However, despite only two weeks left, games are still being released in 2023. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is the newest title to contribute to the growing backlog.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been favourably received, particularly by fans of James Cameron’s Avatar universe, due to its beautifully designed open world and impressive combat, traversal, and flight capabilities. As a large open-world action/adventure RPG, many activities are available for players to engage in within Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. However, for those solely interested in progressing through the main storyline, it is expected to take a reasonable amount of time, 20-25 hours. But after a year like this one, it might even be excessively lengthy, and occasionally, it’s OK to desire to know the outcome of a game.

The Explanation of the Conclusion of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

The Na’vi engage in combat against the RDA.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora places players as a Na’vi warriors, who the RDA took after they were born and trained to become one of their representatives. The Na’vi player-character successfully flees from the RDA facility and its leader, Mercer, along with the rest of their childhood Na’vi companions. Upon arriving on Pandora’s surface, the Na’vi discover they belong to a Sarentu clan that has been missing for a long time. The player-character is responsible for locating three nearby Na’vi tribes and persuading them to join forces to triumph over the RDA in the Western Frontier.

Once the player has enlisted the Aranahe, Zeswa, and Kame’tire clans, they confront Mercer at a massive RDA drilling facility. The player enters the underground drilling base as the three Na’vi clans join forces with the RDA. There, they uncover Mercer’s attempt to extract oil, which would cause significant harm to Pandora’s biosphere.

Upon turning off the primary drill, Mercer discloses that he can still trigger a set of explosives within the base. He then dispatches a personal AMP guard to attempt to eliminate the player. After overpowering the guard, the player rushes to halt Mercer but is ensnared in a trap and immobilized on the ground. Mercer instructs Teylan, a childhood friend of the player, who is a Na’vi, to trigger the charges again. However, when Teylan hears the player-character singing an old song from the Sarentu clan, he changes his mind and restrains Mercer by pinning him to the ground.

The player lifts the subsurface drilling facility to the surface and goes to the roof, where his Na’vi companions are waiting in an RDA gunship. The player must manage to board the gunship on time, but their reliable Ikran is present to transport them away at the final moment. They meet up with their Na’vi companions on a nearby cliff and observe the explosion of the RDA facility, which is assumed to have eliminated Mercer and a significant portion of the RDA’s danger on the Western Frontier.

The Sarentu Depart

At the end of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, the player-character and their Na’vi companions, Teylan and Ri’nela, discuss what lies ahead for them. After the RDA’s defeat in the Western Frontier, the three inform their human ally and former RDA teacher, Alma, that they must find their way and rediscover their Sarentu identity. Ri’nela expresses this sentiment poetically: “The wounds of the past will not determine our future.”
