There is a tangible sense of anticipation for the December release of new video games, which are anticipated to offer an exciting lineup across multiple genres and platforms, as 2023 comes to an end. This holiday season, gamers can enjoy anything from nostalgic expansions to exciting open-world experiences.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is one of the releases that people is most excited about. James Cameron’s extraterrestrial planet serves as the backdrop for Ubisoft’s open-world action-adventure game. An additional noteworthy game that will be released in the last month of 2023 is Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.
However, there are very few games that are completely new, despite the fact that there are plenty of games to look forward to. The majority of video games that will be released in December 2023 are either new platform versions or expansions of already released games. This is not like October, November, or any other month when the majority of the games were brand-new releases.
Among them is Batman Arkham Trilogy, which will soon be available on the Nintendo Switch. The games in the series were first released between 2009 and 2019. PC players can look forward to Terminator: Dark Fate Defiance, while Microsoft Xbox Series X/S owners can play Baldur’s Gate 3. Early in 2023, both games were made available. With the exception of the Avatars game, December 2023 appears to be devoid of highly anticipated games as well.
The top 10 most interesting video game releases for December 2023 are listed here, along with all of the most noteworthy releases of video games that month. This is a curated list, so naturally it isn’t exhaustive, but it does highlight items that are worthy of your attention.

2.SteamWorld Build
A city-building game with aspects of strategic games is called SteamWorld Build. As a gang of “steamboats,” players construct a mining town on a planet about to perish.
The player’s exploration progresses, revealing additional secrets about the planet and lost technologies that may aid in their escape. But managing resources and finding a way out is only one of the problems; another is preventing the town from being attacked by the deadly beasts that lurk beneath the planet’s surface.
There are five maps in the game that players can explore. Some severe fans believe the game merges the Wild West and steampunk genres. This combination is well reflected in the artwork, which is quirky and lovely at the same time.

These three titles stand as the height of superhero storytelling in video games, and it’s possible that they helped create massively popular games like Marvel’s Spider-Man. Every game is exceptional on its own, and since they will all soon be accessible on the Nintendo Switch, now is the ideal moment to play them again.
There’s so much to appreciate about this trilogy, whether you’re rolling through those Batmobile courses in Arkham Knight, solving riddles in Arkham Asylum, encountering a parade of horrifying villains, or trying to grab every Riddler Trophy in Arkham City and seeing them arrive on a new platform soon after their original debut is fantastic.
